خارهاي باله پشتي (کل) : 3; شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 7; خارهاي باله مخرجي: 3; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 7. Distinguished from all congeners by the absence of a lateral line and a large black spot on the caudal-fin base (Ref. 93177).
Found in small, shallow, turbid, canalized stream with low flow rate and aquatic plants covering almost half of the water (Ref. 93177). The stream is exposed to frequent local disturbance such as the presence of the ducks in the water. The sampling site is near a water treatment plant (Ref. 93177).
