Espinas dorsales (total) : 2; Radios blandos dorsales (total) : 29; Espinas anales: 0; Radios blandos anales: 28 - 29; Vértebra: 19. Prominent hump just anterior to nostrils absent. Soft dorsal fin in males has the second ray slightly elongated and filamentous. Long caudal fin, its length equal to the head length. A broad dark stripe on the outer margin of the anal fin in male, its width greater than that of the pupil (Ref. 33065).
