With 10-13 bars; black basal caudal bar thin, not reaching dorsal and ventral midlines, without forwards and backwards directed triangular processes at each extremity (Ref. 39226).

Found in stream with muddy to sandy substrate with a few stones and numerous empty gastropod shells, in depths ranging from 0.05 to 10.5 m. A female measuring 4.51 cm SL contains ovulae 1.2 mm in diameter (Ref. 39226).
