ေက်ာဆူးေတာင္ (စုစုေပါင္း) : 7; ေက်ာဘက္တြင္ရွိေသာ ေရယက္၌ပါေသာ အမွ်င္မ်ား (စုစုေပါင္း) : 16 - 17; စအိုတြင္ရွိေသာဆူးေတာင္မ်ား: 1; စအိုနားတြင္ရွိျပီး နူးညံ့ေသာေရယက္အမွ်င္မ်ား: 16 - 18. Body reddish brown with patches on the cheeks and a black spot at the base of the tail. SL to 38 mm.
Body shape (shape guide): elongated.
Occurs among mangroves (Ref. 1602). Also forms aggregations near surface of marine lakes and tidal streams (Ref. 90102).
