(English) Nearly tropical, bordering tropical zone. Can be subdivided into humid, Mediterranean, steppe, and arid. Air temperature may range from 10 - 30°C. Can tolerate minimum water temperatures of 10-20°C. (See also: temperate, subtropical convergence, tropical)
