| Quote | Hohoguro-sujihaze; intertidal to subtidal zones (7 m depth) in river mouths and coastal areas; prefers a more clay-like substrate, often being collected with Caragobius urolepis at the tidal flat (in Kanekuda, Amami-oshima I,). One female (KAUM–I. 166684) was observed and collected from the entrance of a vertically opening burrow with ca. 2 cm diameter (no confirmation if it has the shrimp-associate ecology). |
