Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Uebi Shebeli (Somalia), Lorian Swamps and Ewaso Nyiro (Uebi Giuba basin, Kenya). Reported from Wabi Shebele in Ethiopia (Ref. 58460).
