Max. size:  2.75 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: lowlands around the rio Ribeira de Iguape, São Paulo, Brazil.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 15-18; Vertebrae: 32-34. Most elongated and slender species, adult males differing from other small species by caudal peduncle depth and body depth.
