Max. size:  2.202 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: throughout the lowlands in the entire Amazon (including rio Negro) and rio Essequibo basins.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow waters where organic debris accumulates, such as submerged litter banks (Ref. 56903).
