| Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 6-6; Vertebrae: 38-38. Belongs to the Oreoglanis siamensis species group as it possesses a distinct median notch on the posterior margin of the lower lip. Can be distinguished from other members of the genus by the combination of the following characters: nasal barbel reaching to anterior margin of orbit, maxillary barbel with pointed tip, and pectoral fins not reaching pelvic-fin origin (Ref. 83406).
Description: Dorsal fin rays i,6; anal fin rays i,5; pectoral fin rays i,19; pelvic fin rays i,5. Caudal fin emarginate. Paired fins greatly enlarged, forming ovoid adhesive disc with body (Ref. 83406). |
