Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: endemic to southern Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in seagrass areas among Amphibolus species with dropped leaves and other organic litter on sand (Ref. 9002). Secretive and extremely well camouflaged (Ref. 9002).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 06 May 2010 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
