Family:  Nemacheilidae (Brook loaches)
Max. size:  5.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Sabah, Malaysia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Prefers sand and gravel substrates and fairly fast-flowing water. Mostly caught at less than 0.5 m water depth. Feeds on detritus.
