Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: southern Japan, Korea; Taiwan (Ref. 5193), and Palau (Ref. 37816).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-9
Biology:  Lives in tolerable depths with rocky places (Ref. 9137).
