Max. size:  27.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean: off Okinawa (Ryukyu Islands), Taiwan, and the Society Islands (French Polynesia).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected in about 100 m on a bank off Okinawa.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 11 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
