Max. size:  3.88 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Rio ParaguaƧu basin in Bahia State, Brazil.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal soft rays: 23-26. Can be diagnosed by having the following characters: head depth 16.7-18.8% SL; 8 longitudinal scale rows between lateral-line and pelvic-fin origin; 47-56 scales on lateral line; and 19-22 branched anal-fin rays (Ref. 87315).
