Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 300 - 400 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: off Reunion and Mauritius Island.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 63-64; Anal soft rays: 54-55; Vertebrae: 49-51. Slender body depth, 23.9-24.2%SL. Body covered with small, deciduous scales. Long pelvic fin rays, 49.2-63.6% SL, reaching posteriorly to mid-length of the anal fin. Short snout.
