Max. size:  21.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the type locality (River Tabie, North Kivu district, about 25 km south of Beni) in the Ituri drainage in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 2801, 96535).
