Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Congrogadinae
Max. size:  10 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 8 - 12 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from Oman.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 47-47; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 39-39. Caudal fin rounded.
Biology:  May be found hiding among spines of Diadema.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 August 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
