Max. size:  11.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Anamalai and Nilgiri Hills, and Cauvery river in India (Ref. 4833). Reported from Myanmar (Ref. 57739).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in mountain rapids (Ref. 41236).
