Family:  Gastromyzontidae (Hillstream loaches)
Max. size:  4.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: northern Borneo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits fast flowing rocky streams (Ref. 84801). It is restricted to riffle areas where it feeds by scraping algae from rocks. It is a small species and generally plain grey in life (Ref. 34011)
