Family:  Fundulidae (Topminnows and killifishes)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; brackish; marine, non-migratory
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Massachusetts to North Carolina in USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit salt marshes. 4 cm max TL (Ref. 7251). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). Omnivorous and feed on detritus, diatoms and a variety of small crustaceans, insects and worms (Ref. 93252).
