Max. size:  8.9 cm TL (male/unsexed); max. reported age: 3 years
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: found only in the upper James River drainage in Virginia and West Virginia in the USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky riffles of creeks and small rivers.
