Family:  Leuciscidae (Minnows), subfamily: Pogonichthyinae
Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Upper Nueces River drainage, Edwards Plateau in Texas, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur in springs and spring-fed creeks, usually in clear water over gravel (Ref. 86798). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
