| Biology: | Adults inhabit oceanic and coastal waters. Known only from pelagic sub-adults taken in stramin nets or midwater trawls (Ref. 4509). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). | |||
