Max. size:  40 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater, potamodromous
Distribution:  North America: Rio Yaqui basin in extreme southeast Arizona, USA and northwest Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur in small mountain and desert creeks, and deep pools, runs and rapids of medium rivers.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 June 2018 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
