Max. size:  4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 7.19999980926514; dH range: 2 - 10, non-migratory
Distribution:  South America: Ribeira de Iguape River basin, Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Bottom spawner, 4 months incubation. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
