Family:  Eleotridae (Bully sleepers)
Max. size:  5.85 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Oceania: southern drainages of Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-10. Yellowish-tan ground color and small reddish spots and vermiculations on the upper half of the head and body. Lateral scale rows 48-52 and transverse scale rows 13-14 (Ref. 77038).
Biology:  Found in a small (approximately 75 cm wide and 15 cm deep) circular pond among limestone rocks (Ref. 77038). Collected also at an elevation between 1500-2000 m in mountainous terrain (Ref. 77038).
