Max. size:  4.5 cm SL (male/unsexed); 5 cm SL (female)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 7 - 7.69999980926514; dH range: 5 - 20; depth range - 1 m
Distribution:  Central America: Rio Ameca basin, Jalisco, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit a quiet pool of clear to murky water at a depth of up to 1.2 m and with bottom consisting of sand, silt, rocks and boulders (Ref. 26130). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
