Family:  Adrianichthyidae (Ricefishes), subfamily: Adrianichthyinae
Max. size:  17.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; pH range: 7.5 - 8.5
Distribution:  Asia: Endemic to Lake Poso, Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-13; Anal soft rays: 24-27. Can be easily distinguished from all other species of Adrianichthyidae by the combination of the following characters: jaws subequal, 24-27 anal fin rays, eye conspicuously smaller than snout, about 75-85 scales in lateral row, 11-13 branched dorsal rays (Ref. 26747).
Biology:  Eggs are attached to the body, between the pelvic fins (Ref. 31267).
